The idea behind Årø Vingård is to produce its very own wine from its own grapes. To capitalize on the opportunities presented by the Danish climate and produce high-quality wine with its very own identity. A wine produced in Denmark, in the Danish climate, and with a taste that appeals to the quality-conscious Dane. To create a vineyard that our guests want to visit and experience, preferably again and again. A vision that ultimately should benefit you.
At Årø Vingård – Café and Shop, you can experience all our delicious, exciting wines – they are on the menu in our café, where the vineyard's wines and other specialties can be enjoyed in our lovely premises and on the vineyard's terrace overlooking the fields and the bay. The wines are also available in our shop.
Furthermore, you can experience the vineyard "up close" – throughout the season from spring to autumn, we offer a series of "Open Wine Tastings." An "Open Wine Tasting" consists of a story about Årø Vingård and Danish wine production told with anecdotes during the tour of both the vineyard and the winery, followed by wine tasting. In our café, you can enjoy delicious, homemade dishes with a regional touch. Our dishes can be enjoyed in the Café, the Fireplace Lounge, the Orangery, or on our lovely terrace - all with a sea view.
